A re-design of a very old character for *AngelCrusher's awesome April Jam, Blast From The Past: [link]

This is Asher, the tiger-pirate... who never used to be a tiger at all... once upon a time he was a regular pirate, until he unwittingly decided to loot ship carrying some very powerful wizards, one of whom cursed him and he took on this tiger form.

It was great to have a chance to re-visit this guy, I remember being very fond of him but never being able to draw him well enough... glad I could finally sort his colours out and get rid of those terribly camp red-claws! ;) :giggle:

Very nice work and certainly an improvement - not just in skill but in design too.
yeah, his design never did sit right before.... but then it was drawn back in the day before I referenced anything (before I had access to the internet!) lol so he doesn't even look like a tiger! ... thank for the comments and the favs :)

heh, you have cool funky characters from ages ago. :) The new version looks great with all new photoshoppage on it :D Red Mohawk, classic. Tony the tiger's rebel brother. ^_^

:O He lifts his eyepatch to reveal... A WORKING EYE!

Heh this one is awesome. He definately looks more tiger-y. I like his 'tude a lot. He looks more cheeky now, in 98 I would say more... burly :P I guess it's the stance!

Very cool though, the improvement is staggering!
