Ever notice how really detailed pictures seem to get a lot of attention? ... just cos they're stupidly detailed? ... that's the way it seems to me anyway -_- Figured I'd have a go, just because I could! This was inspired by a description of Lucifer, who took on the body of a cat to watch God making Man in the garden of Eden. The description was from the book "I, Lucifer" by Glen Duncan. It's a fantastic story, but I'm not going to reccomend you read it since I'm sure it'd probably condem your soul to hell (if such a place exists) just for thinking about it -_- ... it's certianly not suitable for minors anyhow. :giggle:
Anyways, this piece is dedicated to my good buddy Terry, aka ~cricklewood2. Cos not only did he lend me the book in the first place (and therefore without him, there would be no drawing!) but also for being a great friend to me over the last little while... :] - here's to you Terry-mate, Cheers! ^_^
10 hours, 0.5 mechanical pencil in my sketchbook.. toying with the idea of selling the original.... might have a go at colouring it too... but no promises :)

:omg:

Kat, you are a GOD :XD:

Theres a reason extremely detailed pictures get alot of attention, its because the artist DRAWING them pays ALOT of attention to the picture! Dear GOD you crazy kitty ._.

...Wales, next year im goin to Wales and there aint no stoppin me :D

Silly kitty, we pay attention because of your attention to detail :giggle:
this is fantastic !! love the detail and i am astounded ! ... one word ... WOW!
And what detail! From the gentle shading on the trees to the tuffs on the cats tail and ears, such lovely detail in pencil *drool* I wouldn't colour it, save it as pencil, tis beautiful!

Eerie, but I love it. First impression: Cheshire cat. Then I kept wondering what artist it reminds me of. I kinda thought it was like Kovac style. But it's kinda Burtony too, but finally I realised, it's Kat style! :D Great detail, keep it up. Good luck with drunken art! Heehee :D

OMG Kat, that is easily the most gobsmacked I've been with your work. So different to what you normally do, I kept checking the name to see if Devart messed up big time. I don't think you should colour it, it may not live up to the greatness of this version. I'm very impressed and proud. Been constantly thinking about what you might be doing right now, I'm glad you're doing artwork especially of this level. 10.5 hours! All the bg detail. You really are diversifying. Missing you >_<
incredible.

might have a go at colouring it myself ;)
