bah, a power-surge just reset my computer... I lost a whole page of Frankie! poops! Gives me an excuse to have a break and write this news update for the next couple of weeks tho!

Birthday: Yep, in just over a week (6th May) I'll be turning 25! Can you believe it? That's quarter of a century old! o.O It feels a bit odd cos I remember my sister wigging out and being scared of her 25th, even more than her 30th, but it doesn't feel so bad for me. I guess I feel that being involved in industries like comics/animation gives me cart-blanch to act like a 10 y/o for as long as I like
All the best people have their birthdays in May don't you know? Big up to *stressedjenny on the 1st, Jason's Mum, My Papabear, ~dagamon on the 20th, and =NearaGodz on the 22nd!
I'm sure I've forgotten a couple... let me know! ^-^ (I actually have a birthday book now, so I really should write everyone's birthdays down!)

Dr Who: Secondly, for any Dr Who fans local to Cardiff, be informed that the highly tallented ¢greatLP and crew are coming all the way over here to the UK from Spain to do the Dr Who experience on Friday the 9th May, I'm playing host/tour-guide, but I really have very little Who-knowledge, so if there's anyone out there who fancies joining us and taking part in the Dr Who experience then please give a shout (I'm over my head here!) I'm not making it an official devmeet as such (although it should be fun!) cos I don't want the responsibility of organising everything when I'm trying to get stuff ready for....

Bristol: Comic Expo 2008! (this is the REAL reason why ¢greatLP and the gang are over here of course!) I thought I'd confirm the rumor that's been flying around lately and announce that ~jasoncardy and I will be attending the con this year 10/11th May more info: [link] and further more we're going to be coloring sketches live for Draw the World together (remember the charity I was drawing with last year?) - so I'm really looking forward to that! (and Jas is scared, bless 'im!) So if you see us there say hey! I'm going to try to make sure I take some time away from the table to hug some of ya (you know who you are!) - it'll be totally great to see you all there

Other news: I've recently been made co-coordinator of Pontypridd's local Friends of the Earth group! ... so I'm doing my bit of publicity here saying if there's anyone local who's interested in doing some world-saving with us, please feel free to come along to a meeting... note or email me for more info.
